Tony Ybarra, Antoinette Lopez, and Chalo Eduardo at Chase Palm Park Thursday July 23


Chase Palm Park Concerts in the Park series presents FUEGO!, an evening of Flamenco Latino with Tony Ybarra featuring Antoinette Lopez and Chalo Eduardo.

The concert starts at 6pm and admission is free!

Chase Palm Park is located at 236 East Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara.

Bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy the sounds of Flamenco Latino Music, the sound of the ocean and a beautiful summer sunset.

Joining Tony Ybarra will be Al Velasquez on drums, Mike Velasquez on bass, Andrew Martinez on flute/keys, Luis Moreno - vocals, and guests artists Antoinette Lopez and Flamenco Ole, and world renowned percussionist Chalo Eduardo.

Flamenco Guitarist Tony Ybarra at Stow House Tuesday July 21



The 3rd Annual Music at the Ranch Concert series presents Tony Ybarra and Sonido Moreno tomorrow, Tuesday July 21, 2009 from 5:30-7:30pm.

Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic and hear the sounds of Flamenco Latino Guitar under the canopy of Oak and Cedar Trees at the historic Stow House.

Stow House is located at 302 Los Caneros Road in Goleta

Admission is free and open to all ages.

Joining Tony Ybarra will be Andrew Martinez on flute and keys
and Al and Mike Velasquez on drums and bass.

Old Spanish Nights: Thurs. July 16


The California Wine Festival in Santa Barbara has your pre-Fiesta fiesta! This festival offers a celebration of local wine and food and Santa Barbara's Spanish colonial roots at the Casa De la Guerra Courtyard. This is the perfect setting for showcasing local and regional wines, and spicy tapas from local restaurants. Entertainment includes passionate flamenco dancers accompanied by popular California-Latin jazz/flamenco/Rumba band Luna Gitana. Old Spanish Days Fiesta Aug. 5-9 2009


Each August Santa Barbara turns into one giant fiesta! There is so much to do and see during Old Spanish Days Fiesta: experience La Fiesta Pequeña-Opening Ceremonies at the Santa Barbara Mission, taste the flavors of Mexico at De La Guerra Plaza, bring your blanket to the lawn of the courthouse to watch flamenco and folklorico dancing during Noches de Ronda, and don't miss the Fiesta Parade on Friday and the Children's Parade on Saturday.
